Richey BeckettRichey Becket is an illustrator from South Wales UK. He works mostly with pen and ink. He also does some work with record covers, movie posters, and screen printed artwork. This work inspires me because he able to use many different techniques in his pen and ink works and make it look real and also as a simple illustration.

Mona Lisa — 1503
I was inspired by this painting not only because of how well-known it is, but because of its' texture and emphasis. The texture of the background makes it look extremely real. The emphasis of the woman makes everything in the background look like it's far away in the distance. |
The Last Supper — 1495-1498
I was inspired by this painting because of the color and contrast. The color of their clothes makes them stand out against the background. Also, the darkness of the background really contrasts with the colors of their clothes. |
Head of Leda — 1504-1505
I was inspired by this painting because of the lines and emphasis. The curvy lines in her hair really stand out along with the rounded lines on her neck. She herself is emphasized a lot by the subtle background and the slight color of her head. |
